The sales engineer is responsible for first line customer support when it comes to technical-, commercial requests received.
Responsibilities:
- Take up any enquiry received from our customers
- Produce sales quotations when needed
- Follow up on quotations with clients
- Provide product selection guidance to customers
- Communicate realistic engineering requirements
- Advice and support for Spare Parts quotations.
Activities:
- Research into quotations, liaise with engineering
- Pre-engineering and cost estimation
- Quotation administration in Infor
- Ensuring that customer demands are met
- Communication with clients and external relations
- Monitoring order statistics and reporting
Education and Experience
- Vocational commercial degree
- Strong affinity with electro-technical engineering and renewable wind market
- Several years of sales experience preferably in a business-to-business environment
- Spoken and written command of Dutch and English language
- Command of German is a pro
- Good communication skills
